Buddy Reading with Room 24

As part of our CARE programme we meet with our buddy class, Room 24 as often as possible to share our learning and read with a buddy. In addition to finding out what is happening in other classes across the school, we get to read with and be read to by our buddy. We also enjoy seeing our buddies around the school at break times and in assembly.

Term 3 Mathematics - Measurement

  Room 22 and 23 are working together to learn about measurement. We learnt about measurement through the Olympic Games and in PE with Gymnastics.

We are learning to find out what we know about measuring a distance by measuring different lengths and comparing objects.

Learning Intention: Animals and their Habitats

I have been learning about Sea Turtles and their habitat. Sea Turtles live in the sea and lay their eggs in the sand so they keep warm.

Term 2 Integrated Topic - Group Brainstorm - Sea Turtles

Learning Intention: Gathering and Recording Information.

"Our group read a lot of books on Sea Turtles and watched some youtube also. We wrote the main information and then got a question and turned it our ideas into questions. Things we wanted to find out about turtles. It was fun working together as we haven't worked together. We were working in the locker room by ourselves."

Buddy Reading

This is me and my buddy. He is from our buddy class, Mr Forman's room. I like reading with my buddy and going to their classroom. 

CARE - Jellie Park Fun Day Term 1 2016

The whole school went to Jellie Park for a swim. We caught the bus. My parent help was Oliver's Mother. I showed my CARE values on the bus by sitting and using my inside voice.
